Who suspect for murder of Chandra Ann Levy (April 14, 1977 – ca. May 1, 2001) was an American intern at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington, D.C., who disappeared in May 2001 and is presumed murdered after her skeletal remains were found in Rock Creek Park in May 2002. The investigation led to media allegations of an extramarital affair with then-U.S. Representative Gary Condit,[1] a Democrat representing California's 18th congressional district and a senior member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Condit was never named a suspect by police and was ultimately cleared of involvement. However, the cloud of suspicion raised by the intense media focus on the missing intern and the later revelation of the affair led to his loss in his 2002 re-election campaign.

Robot Morolipi v1.0, Bantu Densus 88 Tangkap Teroris

Setelah melakukan penggerebekan yang sukses sejak, Jumat (07/8) sore kemarin di sebuah rumah yang diduga sebagai markas teroris Nurdin M Top di dusun Beji, Kecamatan Kedu, Temanggung, kinerja Densus 88 AntiTeror, dan Mabes Polri juga didukung oleh sebuah robot pengintai. Penggunaan robot oleh Tim Gegana Polri telah dilakukan sejak lama, walaupun produk tersebut masih merupakan produk asing yang berasal dari Inggris.

Robot pengintai tersebut diberi nama Morolipi v1.0, sebuah mobil robot penjinak bom yang dikembangkan oleh LIPI (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia) di tahun 2004, kemudian dilanjutkan hingga tahun 2008. Robot Morolipi v1.0 tersebut dirancang dengan panjang 1 meter danlebar 1 meter, tinggi 90 cm dan bobot 80-100 kg. Robot Morolipi v1.0 tersebut digunakan untuk membantu tim penjinak bom, karena mampu berjalan di permukaan yang datar ataupun menaiki tangga dengan kecepatan 3 meter per detik tanpa menggunakan energi karena menggunakan kopling elektrik. Robot pengintai Morolipi v1.0 tersebut memiliki dua ruas lengan dengan panjang 70cm dan dapat bergerak bebas ke lima arah, berputar 360 derajat, juga menekuk, serta terdapat gripper sebagai alat penjepit dan pemotong kabel di bagian ujung lengannya.

Device robot Morolipi v1.0 ini didukung dengan camera, sensor inframerah, pengontrol artikulator dan artikulator yang dapat mengirimkan detail gambar ke komputer, dan Morolipi v1.0 dapat dikendalikan dengan jarak maksimal 6km dengan menggunakan tongkat pengendali atau joystick. Menurut LIPI, Morolipi v1.0 memiliki rangkaian elektronik penggerak mulai kontak dengan roda penggerak, lengan, kopling elektronika mekanisme melewati tangga, serta pengontrol supervisor untuk memudahkan pengoperasian. Morolipi v1.0 juga dapat memotong kabel berukuran 2 mm yang mengalirkan arus listrik itu sebelum sampai ke bahan peledak. Kecepatan robot tersebut untuk menjinakkan bom sangat tergantung kecepatan operator untuk mengendalikannya. Bahan bakar yang digunakan untuk menggerakkan robot berupa aki listrik. Morolipi v1.0 memiliki 4 roda vespa delapan inci, plus sabuk roda untuk membantu menaiki tangga tanpa terpeleset. Menurut pihak LIPI, robot pengintai Morolipi v1.0 tersebut memiliki harga lebih murah 50 persen dibanding robot penjinak bom import yang mencapai harga Rp1 miliar per unitnya.

Setelah Morolipi v1.0, kini LIPI juga sedang mengembangkan versi kedua dari Morolipi, yang akan dimunculkan pada acara HUT LIPI 23 Agustus mendatang. Untuk versi kedua, menurut LIPI akan ditingkatkan kemampuannya untuk membawa senjata api untuk menembak sasaran, sistem pendeteksi bahan peledak, membantu pasukan anti huru-hara untuk mengatasi kerusuhan, dan bahkan melengkapi robot dengan kemampuan membersihkan tangki bahan bakar minyak di pelabuhan.
